Well, we all speak a lot about the burst on the number of blogs and the web 2.0. However, when you read that just 5.5% are updated on a regular basis and just 1.13% are updated weekly, then you have to rethink the phenomenon. Still, with 133 million blogs, it means that about 1 million people updates every week their blog. I think blogging is something that is (or will be) mainly done (watching my kids) through social networks and even (it is not the same, I know) through MSN messenger. La Huella Digital speaks about a blogging fancy trend where just the stronger will survive. But that put the blogs in the “corporate” level, something more “serious” than just sharing ideas, knowledge or interest in the web. As usual, these issues raise my curiosity. Is it the concept of the web 2.0 just a “fleeting beauty”? I do not think so. We will keep thinking about that..
